(I have twice tried to by something from Elisa Shopit and both times I failed because there were not enough sales persons)
Finally today I got time to go Elisa Shopit store, again. I already was agitated and ready to tell them how customer should be taken care of and how to sell.
When I got to the store I found it empty. Two sales persons (male and female) were talking together, probably trying to decide who's going to lock the door.
The woman, lets call her Kyllikki, asked how she could help me. I told I need head set and memory card for my phone. She walked with me to the shelf and said: "Here's 2 gigs memory card and head set, anything else?" The head set was right, but what the heck… I didn't want too small memory card.
If only Kyllikki had asked at least something about for what I'm going to use that memory card, but no. She just assumed that I'm poor or something because I just were wearing suit and winter coat and no winter hat. In Paper Clip Factory nobody assumes anything, least customer needs.
And what did I say? Of course I only asked bigger one. Stupid me! I should have said that how come she offer me that useless piece of crap and me her ask me questions. Then Kyllikki offered me 4 gigs card and again (stupid me) I said: "That's the biggest?" And the merry go on for a while.
Finally she discovers that 4 gigs is the biggest they have at the moment. Damn… last week there were probably 5 in the rack.
Then I paid (Kyllikki didn't ask any ID's even I bought on my employer's credit) and "left the building". And s you probably guess I wasn't satisfied customer. I will avoid that company as long as possible.
If Kyllikki were working in Paper Clip Factory she should have done at least the following differently:
- Kyllikki should have asked that for what I'm going to use the pieces
- Offer the products that are problem solvers for my case
- Check my ID's to make sure that I work for 'X' company
Actually I'm not disappointed this time, but neither satisfied.
By the way. We moved to our current apartment and I needed 2 megabits Internet connection. Of course Elisa owned the optic fibre coming to our block of flats. Damn again. Funny thing is that the sales man sold me a year ago the Internet connection (or is it?). Actually I have to write about this buying trip later in more details.
Sometimes it helps a little bit that you are eager if one don't know how to sell. This guy is interesting. He talked "internet jargon" to me a lot and finally when giving me the contract he said: "I ordered you the 10 megabits internet connection because it's only 5 euros expensive than 2 megabits. Sign here." I thought for a second and signed.
The good thing is that he sold me more expensive product, but the fact is that I haven't needed that 10 megabytes yet. As I wrote earlier I'm going to write what he did and what we in the Paper Clip Factory do.
Do you consider that he's or she's a good sales person when compared to others?
Does the customer feel satisfied after buying?
